Hello and welcome to our website. Our site is new, so you will continue to see changes to the content in the coming months. We welcome you to continue to check our site for new updates about our organization and the cause we are supporting.
Kawsay Int'l Development Organization is an IRS approved 501c3 tax exempt non-profit organization. We chose to name the non-profit Kawsay Int'l Development Organization because the word Kawsay (pronounced cow-sigh) means "Life" or "The Way of Life." It defines our mission and purpose. We look beyond just creating local program initiaives by focusing many initiatives with a national and international purpose and cause.
We initiated our first project in 2007 while going through the IRS approval status. This project initiative is www.PhilanthropicHeroes.org which serves the purpose of promoting awareness on philanthropic history and activities by regular people and that of pioneers in this sector through social networking, educational videos, and discussions. If we study how the history of philanthropy has evolved in the years, we are able to continue forward by taking the same path, strengthen and expand philanthropic efforts throughout the world.
